What is DVD?
DVD stands for both
Digital Video Disk and Digital versatile
Disk. This is the next generation of
storage technology available to deliver
your message.
DVD Video was first
launched in early 1997. DVD-Video is
a standard Hollywood movie studios have
embraced for film distribution. In addition
to home video, the DVD-ROM format can
be used for storing data, dramatically
increasing the capacity compared to
CD-ROM. DVD-ROM is replacing CD-ROM
units in all newly manufactured computers.
