Position:
Intermediate/Senior Multimedia Designer
and Developer
Reports to: Manager,
Multimedia
Department: Mulitmedia
Core Purpose
Responsible for design and development
of Flash Applications, websites, CD
and DVD Sauthoring, and layouts for
print.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Development of
budgets for multimedia and print projects
- Responsible for
flawless execution and delivery of
a project
- Manage jobs efficiently
and professionally
- Manage timelines
on a job to be able to deliver on
time
- Manage hours attributed
to current jobs
- Liaison with sales
representatives to work through problems
Project Development
- Meetings
with sales representatives and clients
to brainstorm ideas and provide strategic
solutions
- Pick up and run
with jobs currently in development
- Multitask
- Strategically
design websites and Flash applications.
- Efficiently develop
HTML templates, Websites, Flash Sites,
CD and DVD interfaces
- Maintaining the
company website
- Research and implement
new ideas to improve internal procedures.

- Program in HTML

- Develop in Dreamweaver

Lingo
- Action Scripting
- ASP and PHP

Requirements
- Post-secondary
education in design, marketing or
computer programming
- Minimum 5 years
experience in the industry
- Excellent knowledge
of Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash,
Director, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
and Image Ready, Fireworks, HTML,
DHTML, JavaScript and ASP
